My friend's thinking of commiting suicide, what do I do?

i think its very serious. he's alone at home, no one's around him. talking to me through chat, he moved a while back to a different city, so cant go over and stop him in person. i gave him the suicide hotline number, he's still talking crazy. what do i do?? please help!!
