ATV (mini quad) or mini dirtbike?

my dad says he is going to buy me a mini quad for our land that we are about to purchase for fun and for transportation on a large amount of area. my dad says a mini quad is safer because it has 4wheels. i say that u have better access to the ground from the bike and is much thinner and smaller so more control over bumpy terrain like graveled roads. what do you think is better. o yea i am 15 years old
