Fractured zygomatic/cheekbone?
If you fractured your zygomatic arch then most likely you damaged - or at least altered - the anatomy of your maxillary sinus (behind your cheek bone) and possibly the frontal sinus on the affected side (above your eye). Yes - changes in barometric pressure do create a pressure differential in your sinuses. Typically - normal anatomy of the sinus offers a 'valve' type system for equalizing pressures and alleviating or blowing off pressure when it increases - allowing for air to fill the void if pressure decreases. Trauma to the bony structures around the sinus as well as the subsequent swelling/edema from it can cause long term blockage of these valves. I'd see an ENT Doctor for an eval. Give him your history and get a hold of any x-rays you had when this happened. For now - try sudafed on a daily basis.
