How do you use Hybrid Crossfirex Technology?

I have a motherboard M4A78L-M that's capable of Hybrid Crossfirex Technology. I know you need windows vista inorder to use it but as a see on the internet, there's not much information on how to use the technology. I want to link my onboard ATI Radeon HD 3000 with my Radeon HD 4650 Sapphire. If I understand correctly, you can link the onboard card to any ATI Radeon discrete card. How can you do this process though?
