Has anyone had a UTI that caused contractions? That didnt go into preterm labor... Im 24 weeks and just found?

There is a big percentage of women who are pregnant get a UTI . I never really know how, but I remember hearing that from a doctor cause I was actually going into preterm labor because of UTI. What they did was gave an injection of steroids to mature the lungs of the baby just incase of emergency, and then they gave me pills which would stop the contractions, which took like a whole night to finally stop them, and of course they also gave me an IV of antibiotics which wasnt harmful at all for the infection, within a week everything was fine.
