Ok, I went for my Ob appt on thursday and he did a pelvic exam. I am 70 % effaced and my baby boy is engaged and ready. No dialation. I had been having back pains since the day before and i hadnt had any back pain my entire pregnancy. Well, after my exam, i began cramping. As the night went on, they got more intense but not regular. The nurse hotline said it sounded like early labor and to lay down and hydrate myself. The contractions continued but never got regular. THe next morning (Friday) I awoke to nothing. The back pain was still there but not as severe. Well, yesterday (saturday) I had the urge to clean like crazy. I cleaned out my vehicle, did all my laundry, swept and mopped my floors, did up my dishes, stripped my bed and washed the comforters and all. I was a whiz. I laid down and slept decent last night. I awoke this morning fine. But, about a half hour ago, I began feeling what appears to be severe gas pains. I am a little nausious too. What is going on?

HELP FRENCH DRAIN INSTALLATIOn?

I have a problem with water comin in garage and corner of basement. I am goin to put in a french drain system. I have a current drain system at the front of the house but the back and sides of the house are the real problem....the ground it sloped toward house and attatched garage on every side except front. In the back where the house extends farther than the garage is an approximate 10'x10'x6" concrete slab/patio. Water ponds on here real bad because is it below groundlevel approximately 4 inches below dirt around it...i will somehow need to cut through that and put the pipe in...where the garage is i was thinking about puttin system right on wall.....20" deep....because the concrete the garage is on is only 6"thick....i know about all the basic way to install a french drain......but i would like pointers...stuff to stay away from...how far from house do i put drain....holes in pipe up or down? i was told down but that doesnt make sense.. Parents claiming me as a dependent for 2006, but now I'm married. Do I file married filing jointly?

We just did our taxes yesterday with H&R block TaxCut online(ps if you make under $52,000 you can do this for FREE!!! and they guide you all the way!). The way I understand it is that your husband can file Married, but he must file seperately because your parents are claiming you as a dependant. You cannot be the dependant on two seperate tax returns. Honestly, your husband claiming you as a dependant won't make that huge of a difference this year, so if your parents are nice enough to pay for your college....I'd let them claim you this year, but next year you and your husband will want to file jointly to get the maximum # of exemptions on your taxes. If your parents are paying for your college, they need to talk to their tax advisor on how to claim your education expenses from here on out. I know it can be done, bc my parents are nice enough to pay for my college, too, and I am married as well. My hubby claims me as a dependant, but my parents claim my education expenses. GOOD LUCK! Good 'ol taxes are tough even for a college graduate, huh?

Chimney soot?

A few weeks ago we got the chimmney swept ,and put the screen back on it as we weren't going to use it for a while ,Any how the day after it was cleaned ther was a lot of coal dust falling down the chimmney when i pulled off the screen there was a pigion looking at me ,that had obvioulsy fallen down after it was cleaned,so i put the cover back on and called my brother to remove it well it managed to slip out of his hands and covered my ceiling and wallpaper in soot ,we are ready to redecorate now will it be all right to just paint over the black marks it left or will we need to use something special to cover over it so that it does not show through when we paint it.

gory, torture scenes always bother people. Graphic scenes are difficult to watch and make me a bit scared. You have to have a scene in the movie where something just pops out at you, to give your audience a good scare. masks for some reason scare me, so if you have someone in a mask, don't have them say anything throughout the entire movie. It's scarier when they don't talk.

Poltergeist Problem.?

I'm going to be fairly straightforward: I need to rid of this poltergeist. I'ts haunted me since I was 5. It first started by making "lazy" noises such as rapping, footsteps. I know this happened a while back but the nfl changed the rule where teams now kickoff from their own 35 instead of their own 30. IMO, i hate the rule bc i think it will negate alot of the impact of returners like Devin Hester and Josh Cribbs. Without sugar coating it, the answer is simple, they have no control or will power. Our food today is filled with things our bodies don't need, but we crave them because the food industry wants us addicted to there products. I have seen photos of the President doing it. Are they honoring just the flag itself, or are they honoring what the flag stands for and represents? They are giving allegiance and honor to the country, the USA, and not a cloth flag. It's the same way with the items you point out. It's what those items stand for and represent that is being honored and not just the item itself. It's a type of symbolism. The items you point out can't hear and they can't do anything. I often get gas from mysterious foods...?

Sometimes I get terrible gas from certain food- I can't seem to pinpoint it; although it seems to be from cabbage... But sometimes I eat cabbage with no gas resulting. When I get it, it feels awful, like something is churning in my intestines, and I feel very full like I want to burp and flatulate for a long time! (sorry if that's gross). What's wrong with my chicken?

one of my chickens started acting strangely a couple of days ago, firstly it was almost as if she was drunk and I thought she may have eaten some fermented berries or something (they're free range) so I shut her in the hutch. The next day there was no change but I was working so couldn't monitor her properly. Today however she's taken a turn for the worse and could barely make it out of the hutch it was like her legs weren't working properly. I've separated her from the others, who are all acting normally and got her in a cardboard box in the house, I've checked her over and she seems fine apart from her keel which is bare and looks red and quite sore. She is eating fine but she can't sit properly and sits with her legs to the side and looks very uncomfortable. She's an Andalusian bantam who normally hates to be picked up but now she doesn't even struggle when I pick her up. If anyone knows anything else to look for please let me know. If you know what it is and how to treat it that would be great! Thanks.

I think your focusing to intently on the ISTJ thing. I believe in all that too but you have to keep it into perspective...it's a tool, one of many, but not a definitive answer. The whole ISTJ thing does not take into account ADD, depression, anxiety, etc. which further complicate things with regards to combining personality with biology. Relax, okay...you have a lot of life ahead. I've changed careers 6 times ...completely different fields. Two ways to approach that 1)Just go with whatever you are pionate about(will cause you to do better but also take away from your personal life) 2) View your career as a job...9-5 or whatever, that might help your personal life tremendously. It's a tough thing to balance when you have ADD, but very doable...give it some thought with career vs home life balance....

Okay, so i'm in 8th grade, and we have this "field day" coming up soon, and everyone gets all pumped, and has all this school spirit! We have bouncers, games, food, and everyone walks around and signs yearbooks. Its amazingly fun. I understand school spirit means wearing all your school colors. Which in my case are blue and gold. Usually, I do my eye shadow yellow on one half of my eyelid, and blue on the other. Then i do those war lines, that most football players wear, in blue. About a week ago i got an old 1978 Yamaha C-35N Electone Organ, and i had a little jam on it and it all worked well but all the ons and switches weren't exactly the clearest, so i got out the Manual for it and was going over all the switches, and when i got to the wah pedal it said that there was a switch next to it to turn it off tucked away. So i was hooking my foot round to find this switch and then all off a sudden the organ started to crackle so i quickly moved away, and then smoke started to emerge from the keys so i turned it off and took out the plug. I haven't touched it since, anyone know what happened and/or how to fix it? Thanks in advance. - joey

Why do my legs burnout at lower speeds?

When I run on a treadmill I've noticed that I will get tired and my legs will start burning more if I am at a slower speed like 6.5 ish than around 8 or 9. If I am running at 9mph I get can do a 6-8 minute mile without too much discomfort. With 6.5 its more of a 10 min mile with my calves screaming at me to stop at the end. Am I alone on this? I'm 6'1 185lbs if that helps any.

If I were to watch a blu-ray with a dts master audio track that was 7.1 mixed. Would I still get the DTS Master or Dolby true track through the receiver? Um I need some help, here's a little background info. so hopefully you can give me some advice. I went to a private school until i was 13 and in 8th grade. i was one of the most popular girl in the school, had loads of friends, and was very happy. we endeavour to keep condensation in our home to a minimum because we suffer so badly with it .....we are a large family living in quite a small house so obviously dampness in the winter months is a big issue! I would imagine your neighbor has bought the dog purely as a guard dog as I can see no other reason for him getting a dog, he obviously has no desire to interact with the animal and has a very negative attitude towards the dog.....Dogs are naturally fun loving and affectionate animals, they need attention and they will be very loyal if cared for properly and that entails walking them regularly and playing with them (throwing a ball or Frisbee) they also need to meet other dogs in order to learn how to interact with them (without scrapping) and this also applies to meeting people and knowing what behavior is acceptable.....Sounds like your neighbor needs a few lessons himself.....

Air-soft gun shooting problem.?

Okay, well I grew up with seperated parents and what you have to understand is it's really hard for children with separated parents. When i was a kid my brother and I hated our step mom, because she would do stupid things and got really jealous of the relationship my father and i had (i was a daddy's girl and like a carbon copy of him), but even if she didnt, i still wouldnt have liked her, because she wasn't my mom and she was in my moms space. He is probably wishing that you and his dad would get back together, and with step dad 'in the way' that isnt going to happen. Obviously you have no intention of it happening step dad or no step dad, but he won't get this and even if he does, it won't change his opinion. It might not even be this, he might just want you all to himself, and feel as if step dad is taking you away for him. One thing for sure, is you need to talk to his dad and make sure you both enforce punishments and consequences equally, so you're not ending up with the big bad wolf title. You might want dad to have some father son time and talk to him about respect, and dealing with anger, how to tell people when you're upset and explain what's wrong rather than shoving/hitting them. But don't baby or patronize him! Also bear in mind that he will have a lot of pride and you cannot hurt it, so breach the subject tactfully. You need to stop treating him like a child and more like a teenager or young adult, i know for sure that my little brother was mommy's baby his whole life and my mom always treated him like he was a baby, and my sister and i like we were older teenagers or adults from about age 10 in terms of responsibilities and behaviour. You need to explain to him the situation, how you aren't going to get back with his dad (make sure you dont diss his dad because right now he probably idolizes him and this will just make him not trust you) and make sure that you can spend time with him just you two, or just you two and his sister, so that he knows that you are still there for him even if he isnt comfortable with step dad. Maybe you should ask dad if you can spend a day with you, him, and the kids? If your son can see his father (someone he looks up to and respects) respecting you maybe he will start to respect you! I'm sure he will get over this stage but you have to deal with this very carefully, and don't be harsh, be firm and always make sure he knows you love him and he can come to you with anything and you wont get mad, you will help him. There is a big percentage of women who are pregnant get a UTI . I never really know how, but I remember hearing that from a doctor cause I was actually going into preterm labor because of UTI. What they did was gave an injection of steroids to mature the lungs of the baby just incase of emergency, and then they gave me pills which would stop the contractions, which took like a whole night to finally stop them, and of course they also gave me an IV of antibiotics which wasnt harmful at all for the infection, within a week everything was fine.
